We do not sell any 45’s with deep scratches or serious damage.

A+ - No visible marks of any kind on the playing surface. Perfect

A - Shiny glossy surface, no scratches. Some sleeve rub from the paper liner

B++ - shiny bright surface, only one or two very light marks/scratches. Possibly some sleeve rub.

B+ - Shiny glossy surface. No more than 6 light marks/scratches. There may be some sleeve rub.

B - Shiny glossy surface. Between 6 and a dozen light scratches. There may be some sleeve rub

C - Shiny glossy surface but with multiple light scratches or scuffs on the surface. . Possibly light surface noise

Note: 45’s described as new are unplayed retail stock, obtained through store closings and other similar means. . Even though they are new, the condition can vary as small marks or scratches can occur during storage. This is why the record gets a letter rating even if new/unplayed. The sleeves may have replace the worn original.wear and wrinkles from many years of storage. You may also find there is some surface sleeve rub caused by friction against the paper liner. New 45’s are shipped in their original sleeves .
